The next class series begins on Wednesday September 17, 2003

During the hiatus, we will offer three special workshops:

August 27 -- Dancing Tango in Close-Embrace
This two-hour class will focus on the rhythmic style of Tango adapted for the crowded dance-floors of the clubs in the central downtown district of Buenos Aires. The limited space requires certain adjustments in position and technique; the result is a style of Tango that feels both playful and intimate.

September 3 -- Boleos & Ganchos--Women's Technique & Adornments
Boleos & ganchos are commonly seen figures, and unfortunately are very easy to do badly.
In this two-hour class, men will focus on correct technique for leading basic boleos & ganchos. Women will have a chance to polish their technique and learn to add adornments and express their individuality in the dance.

September 10 -- Milonga
A two-hour class to help you understand the milonga rhythm and how to adapt your Tango to Milonga music. This will be a good warm-up for the Nito & Elba Workshop, since they'll be covering Milonga as well as Tango during the four-day Intensive.

Each workshop will be on a Wednesday night, from 6:30-8:30pm.
Cost will be $15 per person.
