HELLO CITIZENS!
I had forgotten to mention it, but we postponed the club officer election from our last meeting to this
upcoming meeting on Saturday, May 19 in Rob Gym 2120 at 4:30pm. Be there. If you are affiliated with the university (student, faculty, whatever) and would like to run for a position (president, vice president, or secretary), you may email me to nominate yourself. If you plan to run for a position, but cannot make it to the meeting, nominate yourself anyway so that you can be included on the ballot.
Remember that only university affiliated persons may run or vote for these positions. We are looking forward to having a new roundup of visionaries to lead our community.
On another note, Gato and Andrea are coming to town to teach a workshop series from June 8th through June 10th. We are working on details of a discount for members who have been participating in the Saturday practica. More news to come soon. Check out the details of their workshop at
http://tangosb.com CalTech is coming up. I am going to see if they will allow me to guest DJ there for a 2 hour span after waffle time. Details about that and trip arrangement to come soon.
